Be Inspired By Everything

I have always loved the raw beauty of the guitar. Something magical happens when our fingers, strings & wood come together & create notes; When we put our souls into it they create more than sound & music; Each note is a little creation that is born & speaks of emotions, feelings, love, happiness, sadness. It can bring tears & make someone smile. It can heal pain & bring comfort. That is music! It is a mystery yet we are all very musical it is a universal language & it is at the very core of the created universe! And that is the privilege we get to enjoy when we play music. How can that not be amazing?

A little about me:I consider myself what you'd call a multi instrumentalist as I love to explore & play many instruments and teach a variety of them to a high level. My arrangements & Music has also been featured on Tv for productions such as AMC's " The Walking Dead" TV series.I am a full member of the Musician's union and also have training in child protection in education. I have a Passion for all music regardless of the genre or instrument used.

Be Inspired By Everything

I always love to listen & get inspired by other musicians. When I started with the classical guitar I loved listening to Classical guitar virtuoso's like Julian Bream, & John Williams.

but then as I started to I explore the raw beauty of the Acoustic guitar i found some of my favourite pieces to listen to and teach have been by Pink Floyd

but then as I started to I explore the raw beauty of the Acoustic guitar i found some of my favourite pieces to listen to and teach have been by Pink Floyd or Simon & Garfunkel or Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, The Beatles & John Denver or fingerstyle artists like Tommy Emmanuel..

I also love just listening to nature and life all around us for inspiration. I believe music is deeply connected to life. Therefore music can be upbeat & happy but can also be slow, soft or sad just as life can be. But whatever we do I believe it should always be fun. This can have a very healing effect on us.

My approach to music reflects this: Music should be an enjoyment and fun always and I try to trigger the creativity which is in everyone!

I have experience in Teaching children and Adults for more than 17 years and I have been playing the Guitar for 35 years.

I have studied the Classical guitar and music theory in music Conservatories in Greece.

I have also played the electric guitar with bands on the side.

I also play the Bass guitar, Ukulele, Chromatic Harmonica, Recorde

I also play the Bass guitar, Ukulele, Chromatic Harmonica, Recorder & Piano - keyboards & currently studying the Viola.

I personally love to explore and play many types of music and these the types of guitar I can help you learn :

- I teach the Classical guitar or Spanish Guitar helping many children & adults fall in love with earlier compositions by J. Dowland & J.S Bach , Classical style like F. Sor, M. Giulliani & D. Aguado to beautiful spanish romantic pieces by F. Tarrega.

- Acoustic guitar using techniques like flat picking , strumming rythm guitar or playing fingerstyle while teaching many popular guitar ballads or rock -pop classics, Blues or Country & Bluegrass played in standard styles.

- I also teach Electric Guitar & Bass guitar.

- Last but certainly not least I specialise in playing and teaching the lovely little Ukulele . This can be simple chords and strumming patterns to accompany easy songs to beautiful fingerstyle playing for more complex chord - melody arrangements.
